Rappahannock Railroad Museum
dedicated to the preservation of historical railroad equipment in the greater Spotsylvania and
We provide education to the public in regard to Railroads,
railroad lines and related events in our area. The museum keeps its
equipment at 11700 Main Street in the Spotslyvania County
Business Park just off of US Route 2/17
south of Fredericksburg.

Visitors are welcome to tour our museum on Saturdays from 9AM to 12
From Mid march through October (and other Saturdays weather permitting),
our visitors are welcomed aboard our
maintenance of way train (Little Yellow Train)
for a short rail excursion to learn and experience how the rail workers
mid 1900's commmuted to their work site.
All train rides are subject to crew availability, weather, commercial rail activity,
and other factors beyond our control.
We welcome all interested persons to become a member.
Members receive our monthly publication The Mail Pouch
that outlines our events
and railroad related news in our area.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at the Central
located at 2607
Salem Church Road
Fredericksburg, VA. Meetings promptly
start at 7:00 PM.
